LEARN · Week 2 · Prompting in practice
The Refine Loop
The mistake is throwing it out and writing a brand-new prompt. Keep what you've got and make one correction at a time: cut the shorthand, put a number on it, name the outcome, aim it at the reader.
After this lesson
- You will correct a draft in passes instead of starting a new prompt.
- You will give corrections the model can act on instead of saying you don't like it.
- You will keep the parts that already worked while you fix the parts that didn't.
