Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 24, 2026
We keep this simple: we collect what we need to run ContentHub for you, we do not sell your data, and you can reach a human about any of it at contact@crossgen-ai.com.
What we collect
- Account details. Your email address and, if you choose to add them, a preferred name, role, goal, bio, and display preferences.
- Learning activity. Which skill nodes you complete and which are assigned to you, so your progress and your cohort views work.
- Community content. Threads and replies you post to the forum, visible to other signed-in members.
- Billing. Subscription status and billing dates. Card details go directly to Stripe, our payment processor; we never see or store your card number.
- Sign-in records. One-time PINs and session data needed to keep your account secure. We do not store passwords because there are none.
- Live session audio. If you attend a live cohort session that a CrossGen employee records, the room's microphone audio (which we transcribe as it is captured and do not keep) and the transcript made from it. See Live session recordings below.
How we use it
- To provide the product: your progress, your cohort membership, your profile, your access.
- To let instructors and company admins you are connected with see your course progress. That visibility is limited to the cohorts and companies you belong to.
- To send the messages you have opted into (newsletter, product updates, cohort notifications). You can change these on your profile page at any time.
- To process payments and prevent abuse.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your personal information.
- We do not use your data to train AI models.
- We do not send marketing you did not ask for.
Cookies
On your first visit we ask how much you want us to store, and we honor that choice for 12 months (you can change it any time by clearing the consent cookie).
- Strictly necessary (always on): your sign-in session, admin editing session, this consent choice, and your light/dark theme preference. The site cannot work without these.
- Analytics (only with your consent): cookies that would help us understand which lessons and pages serve you best. We do not currently set any analytics cookies; if we add them, they will load only when you have chosen "Accept all."
Stripe sets its own cookies on its checkout and billing pages under Stripe's privacy policy. We never use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Sharing
We share data only with the service providers that run the product: Stripe (payments) and Postmark (transactional email). Each receives only what it needs to do its job.
Live session recordings
When a CrossGen employee runs a live cohort session, they can turn on Session Intelligence, which records the session's audio through the presenter's microphone and transcribes it so our team can search the discussion and prepare for the next session. It all happens in-house, on our own hardware, never a third-party service. A live "Recording & transcribing" badge is visible the whole time it is on, we keep only the text transcript (never the audio), only CrossGen employees can open it, and you can email contact@crossgen-ai.com to have a session removed.
Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account exists. Email us to request a copy of your data or deletion of your account, and we will complete it within 30 days.
Your California privacy rights
CrossGen AI is a California company and we honor the CCPA/CPRA for everyone, not only California residents. In the law's categories, we collect identifiers (your email and name), commercial information (your subscription status), internet or other electronic network activity (your learning progress and forum posts), and "audio, electronic, visual, thermal, olfactory, or similar information", which for us means only the microphone audio of a live cohort session captured through Session Intelligence, and the transcript we make from it, as described under Live session recordings above. Nothing else, and no sensitive personal information beyond what running the service requires.
- We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA/CPRA, and we have not done so in the preceding 12 months. Because of that, no "Do Not Sell or Share" opt-out is required; if that ever changed, we would add one before doing anything.
- You have the right to know, correct, delete, and take your data with you. Email contact@crossgen-ai.com from your account address (that is how we verify it is you, or your authorized agent may write on your behalf). We respond within 45 days.
- No retaliation. Exercising any privacy right never changes your price or your service.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Because we do not sell or share personal information or run cross-site tracking, there is nothing for Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals to switch off, because your browsing here is already treated that way for everyone.
Children
ContentHub is a professional learning product and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16; if you believe a child has created an account, email us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we make a meaningful change to this policy, we will note it here and update the date above.
