"Make it shorter" pattern
“Make it shorter” is the everyday editing pattern, and it works best when you replace vague asks with numbers. Instead of “tighten this,” tell it exactly how short: “3 bullets, under 15 words each,” or “cut this to 100 words and keep the ask up top.” Specific targets collapse the model toward the result you want.
